REGISTRATION WITH THE Society of Esthetic Dentistry in Romania

The documents necessary for registration are:

registration form according to this model
copy of the free practice certificate
copy of the identity card

Categories of members

General member – can be any person deemed eligible for registration with the association and has no voting right until obtaining the status of accredited member.

The general member status can be obtained once the following eligibility criteria are fulfilled:

Dentist with right of free practice in Romania
Dentist with preoccupations in the field of aesthetic dentistry
Payment of the SSER registration fee of RON 15 and of the annual subscription of RON 240.

Members shall be responsible for:
a) promoting the objectives of the association;
b) militating for strengthening the prestige of the association;
c) participating in the actions organised by the association;
d) complying with the statute and the decisions of the general meeting;
e) paying the subscription in due time.
Accredited member – has the right to nominalise and vote for members, directors and eligible for any position.
The accredited members shall have the following rights:
a) attending the sessions of the General Meeting, with voting right, for the adoption of all the decisions taken by this assembly;
b) being chosen in the management bodies, under the terms of this statute;
c) attending the events organised by the association in Romania and abroad, according to the attendance instructions;
d) participating in the activity of research, publishing and consulting programmes of the association depending on the specific field of interest proven;
e) using the SSER logo on individual promotion materials, based on the written approval of SSER
f) being defended against administrative abuses and against other abuses related to scope of the association.
g) Special discounts for the members of the society when purchasing dentistry materials and equipment, provided by corporate members.

The eligibility criteria for obtaining the accredited member status involve accumulating a number of 250 points, by attending courses and events organised by the Society of Esthetic Dentistry in Romania, as follows:

Attending a course supported by Romanian specialists in aesthetic dentistry: 25 points
Attending an international course supported by SSER guests in Romania: 50 points
Attending an international course with the SSER support: 75 points
Annual subscription to SSER publications: 10 points
Payment of the annual subscription of RON 450.

The student member status is obtained once the following eligibility criteria are fulfilled:

student at an accredited Faculty of Dental Medicine
preoccupations in the field of aesthetic dentistry
payment of the SSER registration fee of RON 15 and of the annual subscription of RON 120.

The members shall be responsible for:
a) promoting the objectives of the association;
b) militating for strengthening the prestige of the association;
c) participating in the actions organised by the association;
d) complying with the statute and the decisions of the general meeting;
e) paying the subscription in due time.

Corporate member – shall obtain by default the accredited member status, following the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria to be established by common agreement with the Board of Directors.
